I recently had the most unpleasant experience with a sales person. And eventually – after several DAYS of working with them, I’d had enough.
So I asked for their boss’s name. They answered that they COULDN’T tell me that. Not wouldn’t – COULDN’T.
How stupid do they think I am? So I asked for their boss’s email. SAME answer. COULDN’T. Wasn’t allowed.
So I asked for the boss’s phone number. Same answer.
I eventually went to the customer service desk and complained. And surprise, surprise…the floor manager told me, “Of course she can tell you that. It’s public knowledge.”
So he went to get the information for me. And it took HIM 20 mins to get the data.
Why would she pretend she COULDN’T? Ay-yi-yi! Did she think I’d take her answers as the FINAL word on the matter?
She deserves whatever comes her way.
